*Completely free (not trial)

Comodo is what I've used for quite a while. It is full featured and free for life.

I used Avast, as I heard it was among the best free anti-virus applications available, but unfortunately I still ended up getting a virus. Geek Squad had to replace my hard drive and hook me up with Kaspersky. You've got to pay for it, but I've been very pleased with the protection it offers.
