I love looking up into the night sky. I possess a healthy interest in astronomy - all kind of things weird and cosmic like really.
you know, the most interesting thing about the moon is that it is responsible for keeping the Earths procession from developing too much of a wobble...
if it was to develop too much of a wobble, it wouldn't be able to maintain regular seasons for long periods of time which, in turn, would have made it extremely difficult for species to evolve in a way that would allow them to specialize in varying food sources.
